Pouffe

Made To Order 10–12 wks

Designer Donna Wilson

Solid. A dependable character of the highest sorts.

This chair is named after Bertha Wilson, Canada’s first female Supreme Court Justice, a steadfast lawyer’s lawyer of modest origins. She did her job, and she did it well. She also blazed a trail.

The Bertha chair is traditional practicality and comfort, with a modern twist. The pattern, inspired by the hand-carved shingles on Brett House in Joe Batt’s Arm, covers the cushions in 100% lambs’ wool. The precise solid plank construction is as steadfast as the boat-building and “flour barrel chair” traditions that inspired it, as well as the personality it was named after.

There is nothing better to accompany the Pouffe than its sidekick, the Bertha Chair.
