Inspiration
The Sidekick, designed by Anthony Guex, is part of the Premises Collection, connecting the traditional saltbox houses with the modern urban home. This piece was designed to accompany the Armchair and presents an appreciation of the ‘super normal’ with quiet aesthetics that prioritize utility and tranquility. Connecting past to present to future, the Sidekick expresses the value of the permanent over the disposable; it is made to be trusted and treasured.
Fabrication
Made using regionally sourced birch by our craftspeople at Fogo Island Workshops. Available in a range of finishes including hand-buffed Danish Oil, which deepens the amber colour of the wood, and White Oil, which neutralizes the amber tone for a raw matte look. Both absorb into the wood and richen the grain. A variety of coloured lacquers are available.Sidekick
