Who doesn’t want a puppy? Loyal, playful, and at your heels whenever you need them.
Nick Herder, a Newfoundland architect and designer who worked on Fogo Island Inn, was charged with designing a zero-waste table. The whimsical lines of these three-legged friends are cut and re-assembled from a single piece of wood. The offcut derived from cutting out one leg becomes the other. This simple design lightens the feeling of any space with its colour and playfulness.
The largest puppy of the litter, the Dog Rose Puppy Table, is as playful as its side table siblings. Whether you decide to style it as a sturdy seat for guests or as an eye-catching coffee table, this puppy will add whimsical aesthetic to whichever room you choose to make its home.
Made to order using regionally sourced birch by our craftspeople at Fogo Island Workshops. Available in a range of finishes including Danish Oil, which absorbs into the wood and richens the grain, a clear oil that provides a protective topcoat to the natural appearance of the wood, or a coloured lacquer.
